qEEG
Quantitative EEG (electroencephalogram) measures brain activity. This simple test uses sensors placed on different areas of the head that connect to the EEG machine. The qEEG detects electrical impulses in the brain, revealing the quantity and types of brain waves. This information allows a doctor to compare whether recorded brain waves in a particular region are within normal range.
Analysis
By assessing the data from the qEEG, a doctor can create a unique map of the person’s brain activity. This will facilitate the development of a specialized PrTMS therapy regimen.
